It's just a long way home

[sora]

I nodded happily, and chimed in. "Be a dear and show her her cave? Keer is already sleeping." I winked back at her, happiness welling up in me.

[Miley_xo]

I licked Summer and me and Lavara trotted off.

[sora]

I walked along, cub on my back, but he was beginning to stir. Keer yawned, and stood up, before almost tumbling off my back. Luckily, I had caught him before he fell and hurt himself.

[Miley_xo]

Lavara was pleased with her roomy cave, which would fit Keer in until he grew up. "Just tell Summer to bring Keer back to me whenever she likes ... but tonight certainly. I'm going to make this cave my own" Lavara had told me and i was sprinting back to Summer.

[sora]

I was surprised to find Prince back with me so soon. "So Lavara likes her new cave? I trust its one of the best, seeing as she is my very closest friend.?" I winked, rubbing against Prince.

[Miley_xo]

"It's the second biggest in the pride lands, my dear" I rubbed myself over Summer and then picked up Keer. "Hello, little guy. I'm Prince" I smiled.

[sora]

Keer giggled happily, squirming and batting at Princes nose. I felt myself blush at how good he was with Keer.

[Miley_xo]

I stuck my pink tongue out at Keer and felt his tiny paws battering my head. "Your a cute little thing" I said softly. There was a confident roar and i snarled, whipping around. Someone was coming. "Summer. Grab Keer" I said, moving Keer over to my Queen and standing protectivly in front of them both.

[sora]

Fear struck me, and I carefully took Keer away from Prince. A loud roar thundered, and I felt like hiding in a hole. I tryed not to hold Keer to tight, but I head a cry, and let loose a little. In my mind, I was pleading for this to not go wrong.

[Miley_xo]

I snarled into the undergrowth and then a broad blue lion appeared, lips curled, growling. "Your on my land, lion!" I snapped. "Valerian" The blue lion snarled back, spitting on the ground. I raised my eyebrows and took a step closer. Lavara rushed into the clearing, shaking. She spotted Keer and ran over, crying. "Oh my baby, it's okay!" She hugged the crying cub and stayed next to Summer. Both of them were terrified. "Leave now, please" I calmed down a little.

I quickly gave Keer back to his mom, and the both of us didn't know what to do. This new lion, a blew one, though attractive, seamed less than nice. I looked over at Lavara, and asked what we should do.

[Miley_xo]

"Ah, beautiful lionesses" Valerian bowed his head respectfully, blue mane covering his eyes. He tossed it up, flicking it back, showing the shine in his coat. "Would you not like to be in my pride? I have a rare coat ... well, so does this in-experianced youngster, i suppose" Valerian shrugged, eyes locked on Summer and Lavara. Then he spotted Keer. "Oh ... already got a cub, kid?" He turned to me, eyebrows raised. "A rouge" Lavara snapped. I set my jaw, teeth showing threateningly. "You let a rouge do that?!" Valerian frowned. "Before she joined my pride, Valerian" I said coldly. "Ah" The blue lion sat down, tail thumping the ground softly. "You bagged some beautiful girls, son" He smiled bitterly. I looked back at Summer and Lavara and nodded. "Yes. I'm lucky" I admitted, nodding slowly.

I looked disgusted by this lion. Who does he think he is? Coming onto Prince's territory, and talking down to Prince that? And disrespecting Lavara?! I snapped. "Just who do you think you are? Disrespecting Prince like that?!"

[Miley_xo]

"I'm Valerian, honey" The blue lion rumbled. "And i wasn't direspecting 'Prince'. I was saying he's younger than me."
Lavara growled, shoving Keer behind her. "Leave now, Valerina" Purposely getting his name wrong, Lavara snarled.

[sora]

I bared my teeth, and stood next to Lavara. Keer would be fine.

[Miley_xo]

"Ladies, please" Valerian rolled his eyes. "Don't speak to them like that!" I snarled.

[sora]

"Maybe you should leave." I said, snarling. I knew it was mean, but he was trespassing.

[Miley_xo]

Valerian sighed

"Well?" I said impatiently, wondering why I was the only one trying to send him away.

[Miley_xo]

Valerian rolled his amber eyes and walked off, shaking his mane and growling.

[sora]

I felt sorta proud. I looked at prince for approval, then continued to make sure that no one was hurt in any way, shape, or for,.

[Miley_xo]

"I'm going hunting" I grunted, leaving Lavara and Summer behind. Keer whimpered behind me. I turned around. "Want me to take him so yous can have a little girly chat?" I asked Lavara, who nodded. Keer bounded after me.

[sora]

"Finally! Some alone time!" I said, half laughing.

[Miley_xo]

Lavara nodded, sighing and flopping onto her tummy.

[sora]

"Are you OK?" I said, tilting my head. I lay in front of her, so that we could speek face to face.

[Miley_xo]

"Yeah, a little tired" She admitted. "Having a cub is hard. At least i'll have a line of family" Lavara smiled happily, looking at my golden paws. "So, are you going to try and talk Prince into having a cub?"

[sora]

"Ide imagen so." I Sora's, laughing a little. I as tired too. It was hot, and there comes a point when just being awake is too hard. "I will. He's just been so buzzy..." I stopped. All I had to do was keep him for a night. But he liked to run off, so I was seriously doubting that cubs were ever going to happen soon.

[Miley_xo]

"He's getting older, Summer ... and that means getting more ... broody. Wanting more ... female interaction, if you know what i mean? When he brings Keer back, i'll stay away for a few days and you should just seduce him for at least 2 days in a cave" Lavara suggested.

[sora]

I nodded. She knew what she was doing. And I didn't. I loved Prince, and I understood that he was a male, with male needs. I just wanted him to know that I was there to help...fulfill them. "Thanks, Lavara. You have no idea what this means to me. " I smiled.

[Miley_xo]

"No bother, hon!" Lavara smiled, nodding. I jogged back into the clearing, Keer riding on my back, a small bird in his mouth and a rabbit in mine. I dropped the rabbit in front of Summer, licking my lips. Keer scrambled off of me and spat the bird out next to his mother. "For you, ladies!" I laughed.
