Just a little stroll

Valerian. 7 years. Blue Lion.


I walked along side the river flowing openly through the Pride Lands but i stayed away from Prince's territory. He had females and i knew Lavara had a cave not far from here ... but i would leave Prince and his pride alone for now.

Sighing, i dropped onto my side, paws trailing in the fast-flowing water. Just another un-successful day. Hopefully, i would find a lioness soon.

After a little snooze, i got up, ruffled my blue mane and started to walk again.

I signed, and sunk back into the fork in the tree. My days of being alone were getting old. But did I really want to be tied down? I leg out an angered sighed, and rolled over onto my back, now in a 'U' shape in the tree. My black tail hung down, swaying back and forth. Something was near. Or maybe...some one! I haven't seen another lion in forever! I jumped out of the tree, and happy spring in my step.

I spotted the pretty lioness and her black and green coat. I stared, eyes locked on hers, sauntering closer. Her gaze flicked to the left of me and i followed her stare. Prince!

Prince smiled alluringly at the stunning female and then glared at Valerian. Both of the lions headed quickly for the female, darting glares and growls at each other.

I looked to my left, and saw a handsome, black lion, big and smiling. But In front of me, was a sky blue male. I bit my lip and considered my options. Run? Or see where this goes. I sighed and a walked closer, obvious curiosity in my body language. "Hello?" I asked, seeing if the makes would speak, or just growl over who got me.

[Miley_xo]

"Hello" Prince dipped his muzzle, nodding a polite hello. A few yards away from the lioness, he sat down.
"Hey there, beautiful" I winked, licking my lips.

[sora]

"I don't suppose I can ask for your names?" I said, find some confidence to move even closer to the pare. I was espresualy nerves about them. They could easily kill me if they got into a fight, as that's what happened to my mother, and the rest of the pride.

[Miley_xo]

"I'm Valerian. And what about you, stunning?" I grinned.
"Prince" Prince said, a little less eager.

Better tone it down, Val!

[sora]

"Well, it's nice to meet you both. Im Leli." I said, nodding my head respectively to the two males. One seemed very eager, and the other seemed to not care too much. I was now sitting in front of them, so that we formed a triangle. They were very attractive.

[Miley_xo]

"Do you have any family, Leli?" Prince asked, tilting his head forward so his bushy mane moved. I sat back and watched, eyes narrowed.

[sora]

I looked away. "No..." I trailed off. I had t had family for 2 years. And was I about to just let these males trick me into belong that they wanted to be with me? No. They didn't want -me- they want my femininity. The looks I was getting from the blue one helped reinforce this idea.

[Miley_xo]

"Oh, i'm sorry about that" Prince nodded, looking deeply at Leli. He understood what it was like and he shared this with her.

[sora]

"It's Ok..." I said, finding some happiness, and security. "Ive been on my own for a couple years. I'm used to it." I smiled, watching carefully at the body language of the males. "What about, Val? Have any family?"

[Miley_xo]

"Nope. I'm looking for a healthy, strong pride!" I winked.

[sora]

I looked confused. Was he implying that I should join his pride? I wanted to laugh, but held it in, so that I didn't seem rude. I nodded, smiling back.

[Miley_xo]

Prince rolled his eyes, scoffing at Valerian's eagerness. "You have a very unique coat, Leli" He commented, smiling at the pretty lioness.
"It's beautiful!" I agreed.

[sora]

"Well Thank you. You both have pretty unique coats as well." I complemented. The one called Val seemed a little more eager to charm me, where as Prince was just...not going overboard, for a lack of a better phrase. I was beginning to fell more confident, and my muscles had relaxed.

[Miley_xo]

"Desperate much?" Prince hissed to me. I narrowed my eyes and made myself tall, growling. Prince done the same and with a heart-wrenching dissapointment, i realised he would win a fight. Sitting down, i snarled at him. Prince smiled at Leli, winking.

[sora]

I frowned at the both of them. "No need for harsh words." I added. I was very against fighting. I was basically a peace keeper. Prince winked at me, but I didn't wink back. I just starred at them.

[Miley_xo]

"A peace-keeper, eh? You'd be of amazing use in my pride, darling" Prince said.

[sora]

I tilted my head to the right. Of corse. How did I not see that this was the hole purpose of them even talking with me. I wasn't really drawn to Prince's offer. If he needed someone to keep the peace, his pride must be very dysfunction.

[Miley_xo]

"She's not interested, mate" Valerian yelled.

[sora]

"I think I'm gonna go..." I said, trialling of to see how they would react. I didn't want to be around when they started fighting.

[Miley_xo]

"Hey, wait!" Valerian called, running after Leli. "Let her have some alone time, Valerian" Prince called after him.

[sora]

I obeyed, and sat down right where I was. I turned my head to face them, awaiting for them to try and charm.

[Miley_xo]

"I'm sorry, but your to beautiful to let go" I charmed.

[sora]

I smiled, though it was forced. "Im a little hungry." I said, my tummy growling to emphasize.

[Miley_xo]

"I have a buck at my cave, gorgeous"

[sora]

I sighed, and nodded. "So, Prince, are you coming?" I asked, as if I had no idea what was going on.

[Miley_xo]

"No" Prince said, turning and walking away, tail flicking lazily. He wasn't going to act desperate.

[sora]

I shrugged, and continued walking with Val. I would lead him on, but if he did anything...dangerous...I would stop.
